Mirth In Motion

Poetry Of Sorts
~ Mirth In Motion ~
 LISTEN  TO  THE  POEM (SOON)

Mirth In Motion

Like rats exploding from a sewer
Fireworks on the Eiffel Tower
Coins hitting a beggars plate
Taking the metro too late
Arcs of Triumph, tinted tricolour
Thieves on the steps of the Sacré Coeur
Black men selling flapping birds
Then running from the cops in herds
Palais Royal's perfect puddles
Luxembourg's shadows and muddles
Louvre pyramids like magic windows
Reflect Romanian widows
Sunset on the Paris sound
The Seine river laps all around
Paris blasts into my mind
Paris laughs at all mankind
